Don't believe those so-called miracle doctors who claim that cancer can be cured with just a few doses of Chinese herbal medicine.
When it comes to cancer, people often feel a chill of fear. Some believe that even after surgery to remove a tumor, one’s vitality will be severely depleted. With various opinions circulating, many patients, upon being diagnosed with cancer, tend to seek any possible treatment in desperation. As a result, traditional Chinese medicine, often regarded as a natural, non-toxic, and side-effect-free option, is sometimes viewed as a miraculous cure and held in almost divine esteem.
So, can traditional Chinese medicine really treat all types of tumors?
In reality, there are often claims in society about so-called “miracle” anti-cancer drugs, most of which are based on the principle of “using poison to fight poison.” Some patients, trusting in unverified folk remedies from unlicensed practitioners, not only fail to achieve any anti-cancer effects but also risk damaging their liver and kidney functions, ultimately doing more harm than good. In fact, as a traditional medical practice of our country, Chinese medicine does have unique advantages in treating certain diseases compared to Western medicine. However, Chinese medicine is not a cure-all. It can, to some extent, aid in postoperative recovery for cancer patients, alleviate the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and enhance the effectiveness of these treatments. Yet, Chinese medicine cannot replace surgery, radiotherapy, or chemotherapy. Moreover, its application requires syndrome differentiation and tailored treatment—there are no universal secret formulas or guaranteed remedies. When faced with a tumor, it is important to accept the situation calmly, understand it correctly, and confront it proactively. Under the guidance of a doctor, through comprehensive, standardized, and personalized treatment plans, most tumors can be effectively controlled and even potentially cured. Do not let unreliable folk remedies delay proper treatment. Early awareness and timely action are what patients and their families should prioritize.
For example, I once had a patient with lung cancer who sought out so-called “miracle healers” from folk practices. Not only did the tumor remain uncontrolled, but the condition also progressed and began to metastasize. It was only by chance, after coming across one of my videos, that the patient reached out for consultation. For patients with advanced metastatic cancer, what we can do is strive to extend their survival and ensure their comfort in their final journey. After six months of Chinese medicine treatment, the patient’s tumor did not worsen further, achieving what we often refer to clinically as “living with the tumor”—where the condition does not significantly impact daily life as long as regular check-ups and interventions are maintained.
Through this small case, I want to emphasize that no doctor can promise a 100% cure. I understand the urgency and anxiety that drive people to seek treatment, but I still hope everyone can stay vigilant and make careful, informed decisions when seeking medical help. Since each individual’s physical condition is unique, I cannot provide specific treatment plans here.
